In the afternoon the sun through the back window sometimes gets in my eyes when I am trying to work, so I pull the blind down.
This is an instant invitation to sit half-way up the sash window. (They don't usually bother if the blind is up)

... and then there was an argument and they both fell down!

(Through the window you can see the pampas grass in the garden)
