Oriental Bicolour Group

The Oriental Bicolour Group
Help the Breed to Progress
- Oriental Bicolours currently have Preliminary recognition with the GCCF
They are a separate Breed Group - in the same way as Oriental Selfs, Oriental Non-Selfs and Oriental Longhairs are all separate Breed Groups, each with their own list of Judges.
Before they progress, in due course, to Provisional status a lot of work is required:
At least 15 Oriental Bicolours will need to get four Merit Certificates each from four different Judges (a maximum of two each can be won as kittens) ... and a great deal of paperwork will need to accompany the application!
To help the Hon Secretary get this paperwork together, and thus help the breed to progress, please send or email her the following -
- details of every Oriental Bicolour you register with GCCF - name, registration number, sex, breed number, date of birth
- copies of the Merit assessment forms, whether the Merit is awarded or not, plus the name & date of the Show (please do NOT send photocopies of the Merit certificates!)
- the miscellaneous and club class results -
show name & date, class title, judge, placing, number of cats in the class
if the critique is published - a copy of the critique, a cutting from Our Cats (if you do not keep them for long) or a note of the issue and the page where it is pubished
- Please make sure that you record all these details for every Oriental Bicolour you breed and/or show and please send them in regularly. It is so much harder to get the information later when you have lost your catalogue and forgotten the results!
You can print out a form to use if you wish
