The breed numbers for Oriental Bicolours are slightly complicated, due to the large number of variations - they have been simplified as much as possible! (they follow the same series as the Asian breed numbers, but with the addition of the pointed pattern)

The basic breed number for Oriental Bicolour Shorthairs is 48
The basic breed number for Oriental Bicolour Longhairs is 49

The patterns (other than selfs and torties) are defined by a second set of numbers:

The colours are designated by letters as follows:

Silver (and smoke in pointed varieties) is indicated by s

In addition, the basic number in non-pointed varieties designates a green-eyed cat
Blue-eyed non-pointed cats are designated by the addition of bl at the end of the number
and odd-eyed are designated by the addition of od
